Getting Started

Go from zero to your first marketing insight in under 10 minutes. Follow these six steps to set up your account and run your first analysis.

Prerequisites

  • Admin access to at least one ad platform (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.)
  • A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)
  • A work email address for account creation
Step 11 minute

Create your account

Sign up at magic.marketinc.agency/signup with your email or Google account. No credit card required for the free tier.

  • Choose a strong password (min. 8 characters)
  • Verify your email address via the confirmation link
  • Complete the brief company profile (name, industry, team size)
  • Select your primary marketing objective (growth, efficiency, attribution)

Tip: Use your work email to automatically associate with your organization.

Step 22 minutes

Connect your first platform

Navigate to Connectors in the dashboard sidebar and authorize your first advertising platform via OAuth.

  • Click "Add Connector" and select from 9 supported platforms
  • Authorize access via the platform's OAuth flow (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.)
  • Select the ad accounts you want to import
  • Choose the campaigns to include in your analysis

Tip: Start with your highest-spend platform for the most impactful first analysis.

Step 33-5 minutes

Sync your data

Once connected, MAGIC automatically pulls historical data from your platform. The initial sync includes the last 12 months of campaign data.

  • Initial sync pulls 12 months of historical data
  • Data is validated and normalized during ingestion
  • Progress is shown in real-time on the connector card
  • Subsequent syncs happen automatically every 6 hours

Tip: You can trigger a manual sync anytime from the connector settings page.

Step 4Immediate

View your dashboard

Your dashboard populates as data flows in. Explore KPIs, trend charts, and platform comparisons at a glance.

  • Global KPIs: total spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, ROAS
  • Time-series trends with daily, weekly, and monthly granularity
  • Platform breakdown with side-by-side performance comparison
  • Campaign-level drilldowns for granular analysis

Tip: Use the date range picker to focus on specific periods for deeper analysis.

Step 5Instant responses

Ask the AI Copilot

Open the AI Chat from the sidebar and ask questions about your marketing data in plain English. No SQL or technical skills required.

  • Ask about ROAS, spend efficiency, or channel comparisons
  • Request visualizations (e.g., "Show me a chart of Meta spend vs. conversions")
  • Get anomaly explanations (e.g., "Why did CPC spike last Tuesday?")
  • Ask for budget recommendations based on current performance

Tip: Try: "Which channel has the best ROAS this quarter and why?"

Step 65-15 minutes

Run your first model

Navigate to Projects, create a new project, and run a Marketing Mix Model. MAGIC runs dual engines (Robyn + Meridian) in parallel for validated results.

  • Create a new project and select the platforms to include
  • Configure the model parameters (or use smart defaults)
  • Launch the dual-engine MMM run (Robyn frequentist + Meridian Bayesian)
  • Review the attribution results with confidence intervals
  • Export the report as PDF or share with your team

Tip: When both models agree on a channel's performance, you can act with high confidence.
